Q Did you have any teachers who influenced your decision to become an educator?
A I have many great teachers including Mrs. Pat Acord, and Mrs. Carolyn Durbin in my younger years. Mr. Wallace and Mrs. McCracken in my High School years.

Q What would you say most motivates you to teach?
A  My motivation is when the kids come into my room smiling and happy to be there!

Q  What are you most excited or passionate about?
A I want the kids to have a fun, loving environment to learn in. I want them to know they are important and loved.

Q What do you find most challenging about being a teacher?
A The most challenging thing for me is I don’t have enough hands to tie four pairs of shoes, hold five kid’s hands on the way to lunch, help zip, snap, button, etc. The things I could get done if I had more hands! LOL

Q What's the best thing to happen since you started teaching?
A Since I started teaching, I have met some wonderful people and made some great friends.

Q What might students and parents be surprised to know about you?
A I think people know me so it wouldn’t really surprise too many that I HATE being in front of people, so Kindergarten graduation is really hard for me!

Q What profession other than your own would you most like to attempt?
A I would probably be a child counselor.

Q What are three things every teacher should have?
A The three things every teacher should have are comfortable shoes, flexibility, and patience.

Q Tell me a little bit about your family, and how you enjoy spending your free time:
A  I am married to Wyatt Hill. We have only been married for six years. We enjoy riding our ATV and camping. I have a daughter, Casey Guy, a son, Justin Guy, and three grandkids, Brody Phillips, Drew Guy, and Jordan Guy. I love spending time with my family and watching my grandkids in their activities!
